Late 1940s Noble, Texas. Jack Duncan, a promising high school athlete, is a local dreamboat. He also comes from the wrong side of the tracks. However, unconditional love doesn't care about class. When Jack locks eyes with Ginny Peterson, the only daughter of the town's wealthy banker, sparks fly and a pure summer romance begins against all odds. Of course, Ginny's parents oppose their union; Jack's family is not too thrilled either.
