Marc and Suzanne, two friends leave the south of France for Paris, where they share an apartment and try to build a new life. Their routine changes when Suzanne nearly drowns during a swim and is rescued by Lucien, a reserved young man. The three quickly form a close-knit trio, their bond appearing at first like effortless friendship. Marc, who is gay, falls in love with Lucien, but Lucien's affections are directed toward Suzanne, who, cautious after past relationships, struggles with how to respond. What starts as seemingly carefree companionship becomes strained by unspoken desires, mismatched attractions, and emotional confusion. The story sensitively explores friendship, love, jealousy and the complexity of relationships among the three in the Parisian setting.
