Since his rock group dissolved, a man works in a banknote incinerator Disillusioned by the loss of his passion, the music, which he practiced within the small rock group composed of friends, Gilbert seeks back to work to support his wife, Gisèle, and his son, Nicolas. He finds a place of responsible for the incineration of old banknotes at the Banque de France. Suddenly, Serge, a friend who has been missing for ten years, resurfaces and disrupts his peaceful little commuter life. With Marc, Gisèle's brother, they decide to abuse Gilbert to steal a good nest egg from his workplace.
