Sandhya Parulekar, also known as Lalbaughchi Rani, suffers from mental illness and is restricted to attending school and playing with kids. On her 24th birthday her parents take her out for a treat, but she becomes separated from them. She meets various people on the streets of Mumbai, like actor Andy and beggar Govinda. Her innocence is such that it can melt a stone heart. But her parents are more worried about her disappearance.
