A man ponders his past when he used to aimlessly wander in the streets. One night he crossed paths with the same woman twice. Ever since, haunted by this coincidence, he has been living secluded in his apartment. Some time later, he receives a strange love letter proposing a meeting on the Pont-Neuf.
