Jezabel, a modern young woman, lives out her love stories in a frenzy. Unable to do otherwise, she throws herself body and soul into them, piling up painful situations. Frédéric, with whom she once indulged in every game, has just left her chaos behind for a more disciplined life. Tipsy at a dinner with her eccentric circle of friends straight out of Les Bains Douches, Jezabel meets Ariel, a very young and timid man of 17 years old. She likes him. Naturally excitable, and carried away by the euphoria of the evening, Jezabel sweeps Ariel along-he is seduced and does not resist. For Jezabel, the only way to approach things is to experience them fully. Ariel, until now more spectator than actor, drifts in a kind of contemporary lethargy. Jezabel suddenly feels the urge to shake him-or more precisely, to dazzle him with every shade: sensual, sexual, ambiguous, provocative.
