The Curse of the Lily
The peaceful atmosphere of Bordeaux is suddenly shattered by two murders that follow an old ritual reserved, two centuries earlier, for slaves who disobeyed their master... The two victims are bigwigs who come from families that built their fortune on the slave trade. An atypical duo leads the investigation: Antoine, an expert in psycho-criminology, of African origin, and Clémence, a brilliant Police captain who is also a descendant of a slave-trading family. Our two heroes will have to set aside their differences and form a close-knit team to find the killer.
