Dr. Ram Inamdar runs Inamdar hospital he treats his patients with love and care and does not care for money his mother wants him to get married but Ram isn't still ready.Madhvi Deshmukh joins his hospital as a nurse which reduces his work load Ram falls in love with her while his friend Vitoba and his wife Rakma help him express his love to her but Madhvi rejects it.Madhvi has a past she is a widow and was earlier married to Shyam who passed away in an accident when Ram shows interest in marrying her Shyam's father convinces her to get married but Ram hides it from his mother that Madhvi is a widow as she wont accept a widow as daughter in law.But biggest tragedy is awaiting as Ram goes to Mumbai for a conference and comes back with a patient Raju whose suffering from memory loss whose none other then Shyam.
