Young hot-headed, and successful, Georgia Zaragosa wishes for her independence and find romance on her own. Georgia's father, however, has favored Charlie, the son of his friend, to be her suitor, while worrying about her well-being. Delfin Maniego, a humble and dedicated man, is then hired to be Georgia's bodyguard by her father. Despite their different lives, Georgia and Delfin develop a relationship and start falling in love with each other.
