Nathalie Pêcheux, a divorced professor of literature, spends most of the day from careful mother to sickly jealous. If her first target is her lovely 18-year-old daughter, Mathilde, a classical dancer, her field of action soon extends to her friends, colleagues and even her neighborhood.
