Jacob's Gift, is a story about Isaac a man in the early days of Israel who lives with his wife Rachel and son Shimon. Their village is attached by Roman Soldiers burning and killing all in their path. Rachel is killed by the Roman Soldier, leaving Isaac and Shimon to mourn her death. Isaac seeks revenge against the Soldier. He has had dreams of a Ladder coming down from Heaven to Earth. An Angel visit him and tells him that he knows where he can find the Soldier. Isaac struggle to believe the Angel is real and that he is told to go to the Elders. The Elders banish Isaac for lack of belief. Now he is forced to make a choice that will allow him to find vengeance or redemption. When it comes to the final choice it is redemption that saves Isaac and allows him to believe again and trust that there is a God.
