Inquest Reviews

A remake of the 1931 film, with Allan suspected of murdering her husband after a revolver is found in her attic. Coroner Lomas is determined to prove her guilty but, thanks to Petrie's clever courtroom work, Allan is found innocent. Not bad as courtroom dramas go. This was the first attempt by the Boulting brothers to give higher production values to programmer filmmaking.
