Kelly Wells has everything that an average 24-year-old woman wants: an aspiring career, two best friends, and a potential love life. Having just moved out on her own, she intends to find her place in life with the help of her friends, Kacy and Nikki. When Kelly suddenly finds out about the death of her estranged mother, this puts a halt on her seemingly smooth transition as more issues begin to unravel that she had kept tucked away for years. Kelly's built-up rage takes the form of voices and hallucinations as she tries to remain as normal as possible to Kacy and Nikki; however, they begin to catch on to her sudden mood changes and strange actions, and seek out Kelly's uncle, John, for help. John, Kelly's caretaker from the time she was a child, has difficulty helping Kelly, as he has his own disturbing news about her past. In the days that follow the information that Uncle John has given Kelly, Kelly's life completely spirals out of control. Her line between reality and delusion has diminished; her voices have begun to drive her to the brink of insanity, as she slowly slips into Ingloda.
