In Case of Bad Luck
Noémie and Lucie have a plan: while Lucie spends the night with the jeweler, Noémie will rob her shop. But they don't account for the jeweler carefully setting the alarm. As soon as it rings, the jeweler runs into her shop and grapples with Lucie. Shouts and blows are exchanged. Lucie hits the jeweler, who falls, blood running down her face. The two thieves get away and split up. Lucie spends the night wandering the streets, before going to see Sam, a nightclub owner. He agrees to provide her with an alibi. Then she goes to see Viviane Guérand, a famous lawyer, whom she wants to defend her. The lawyer, won over by Lucie's nerve, decides to give it a go.
