Firoozeh is a pretty, 20-year-old woman living in poverty who cleans people's homes. She considers selling her eggs at a fertility clinic, on the advice of her friend Shahla Moshfegh. Moshfegh arranges a meeting between Firoozeh and Minoo Teymoori, a woman who plans to take an egg from someone who looks like her. However, Firoozeh reveals a secret to Moshfegh before the meeting. This secret weighs heavily on Firoozeh's conscience during her meeting with Teymoori - that is, until Teymoori pushes her boundaries and takes her questioning too far.
