"Honk For Peace" follows the 2003 anti-war movement starting in New York City, and culminates with the historic 2006 Senate race between Joe Lieberman and Ned Lamont in Connecticut. In the Democratic primary, Ned Lamont, a political newcomer, ran an anti-war campaign beating Joe Lieberman, the 18 year incumbent and former Vice Presidential nominee. As a result, Joe was forced to run as an Independent in the general election and defend his Pro-war ideals.
