HOLLA AT ME follows photography subject Darius Hancock's reflective journey from his home in turbulent Capitol Heights, MD to Washington, DC's historic (and rapidly gentrifying) U St. corridor. There, a three story photo of the tattoo-laden Hancock in full doctoral robes hangs prominently above the busy intersection - inspiring conversation about the way young black men are viewed by the world and themselves.
