"Give into the Night" is a film about grief, isolation, companionship, and the immigrant experience in America. The story begins when recently-widowed Anand moves to the US from India to live with his daughter and granddaughter, who is suffering from a recent illness. Separated by time and distance, the family's relationship has become as cold and desolate as the wintry New England environment they inhabit. At the end of a long night, the characters slowly begin to discover what it means to be a family again by coming to terms with their shared grief and isolation.
