GIRLY is an intimate, charming and ultimately uplifting documentary which explores femininity from the perspective of gender nonconforming people. We follow filmmaker Zoe Black, who has been reevaluating their relationship with femininity since coming out as nonbinary a few years ago. Zoe embarks on a journey to explore girlyness alongside three other gender nonconforming people: Sorrell, Au and Daze, each of whom have had their own strained relationship with femininity. Moving, funny and deeply personal, GIRLY tells an affirming story of four queer people exploring and embracing femininity on their own terms.
