A Russian producer auditions talent for his soon-to-open Broadway show "Girl Fever." He signs buxom Choo-Choo Collins, a blonde who sings "Shooby-Shooby" in silver lamé pants. He also hires George Camarinos III who sings "You've Got Me Bugged" with his arms flapping around. The producer auditions but does not hire an overweight woman (Edna Thayer) who dances around singing "I'm a Big Fat Mama." He also realizes his show needs "a big star" so promptly travels the world looking for one.
