After nine years of serving in a crack Paratroop Regiment, Reuben returns home to a squalid civilian existence. Back home, he meets up with Fish, a bitter and resentful ex-para and old friend. Reuben is manipulated by Detective Sergeant Kilcoyne into tracing the killer of a local policeman and it’s possible that Fish may be involved.
