Three stories of life in Canada are told. In "Ball Stars Start Young", a Little League baseball game between the Kinsmen and the Gyros at Hillcrest Stadium in Vancouver is shown. At a maximum age of twelve, the players are already demonstrating how well they've been trained to become the baseball stars of tomorrow, with the coaches throwing in some strategy in the goal of winning the game. In "An Auto in Minutes", the main assembly line at one of the many automobile manufacturing plants in Ontario is shown to the end of getting those automobiles on the road. This main line takes in already assembled components from other lines, which in turn used parts manufactured at other factories in Ontario. And in "A Railroad Goes to Sea", the work of one unique aspect of the Pacific Great Eastern (PGE) Railroad is shown. While cargo arrives in Vancouver Harbour via container ship, it needs to be moved to PGE's terminus in Squamish forty-five miles away to continue on its transportation journey to the British Columbia interior, that forty-five miles where PGE's barge service hauled by tugboat comes into play.
