Espionage Agent

It's the mid 1930s. Barry Corvall is following in his deceased father's footsteps in becoming part of the American diplomatic corps, his first assignment following graduation from the Foreign Service School being Paris. This posting secretly delights his bride, Brenda Ballard, the two who met when Barry was working at the American Consulate in Tangier among the battles in North Africa, Brenda a stranded American. What Barry does not know and why Brenda was happy specifically that Barry was not posted to Berlin is that she is a reluctant spy for the enemies, who helped her out both in Europe and in North Africa in her distress in return for her service back to them. While she is hoping that she never hears from them again, they do contact her and expect her service in Barry's access to confidential information regardless of where he is posted. She has to decide what to do in light of being pulled back into the enemy ranks.
