Cameron Steele is an escape artist who also offers his services to people who need help. He is approached by a man who says someone's trying to grab him and if they do he wants Steele to rescue him. Before he could tell Steele more some men jump them grab the man tie Steele up and throw him into a river. He uses his skills to escape. Then he checks the man out and learns he's a brilliant scientist working on something big with his brother but for some reason he burned his lab along with his project and his brother was there and was killed which made him a fugitive. Steele decides to talk to the mans daughter to find out more but before he could learn anything someone tries to grab her Steele saves her and takes her to his place to keep her safe while he searches for her father.
