In a well-off suburb, Alain, Christine, Tiphaine and Maddie form an ordinary family. They are friends with the family living across the street Valérie and her children. They all live an ordinary neighbourhood and family life, at least on the surface. Trapped under the weight of social conventions and his own unhappiness, one of the character can't find balance in his inner self and his environment. He then decides to get his voice heard even if his has to jeopardize what's most dear to him.
