This short film riffs off the old folktale of the five blind men who go to visit an elephant. After touching its constituent body parts, each one considers he's found something different: the trunk is a snake, the ear a fan, the tail a rope and so on. In the film, five storytellers spin their own yarns about each object, while elephant related imagery flashes on. The film uses the action of memory and the imagination at work to create a whole from parts.
