Morton Downey's mellifluous voice is a treat in any short. The singer renders several numbers which are new. He is surrounded by a bevy of girls who for no good reason wander in and out of the numerous sets for routine dances. This number has to do with Downey graduating from a police training school in Ireland and landing in America prepared to join the New York force. He lands on St. Patrick's Day and the parade peps him up. In addition, the dancers and several other acts perform for the benefit of the singer, who, instead of joining the police, is signed up by a radio station.
