Based in the '80s, a mother/son relationship takes a wild left turn after she discovers adult, all-male material under her son's bed the morning of his 16th birthday! Trying to find out what this "really means," each take some non-traditional steps to get to a new understanding and how to deal with it. Universal themes of family love, dysfunction and acceptance are at the heart of the film.
