Bent on succeeding in the cut-throat world of photojournalism, the indefatigable and self-confident photographer, Thanassis Delithanassis, finally manages to land a job as a reporter for a mass-circulation magazine. However, there is a catch. On his very first assignment, Thanassis is to infiltrate the heavily guarded mansion of a corrupt former South-American dictator, to take his picture. Instead, Thanassis ends up with a note containing a mysterious handwritten message from the elusive tyrant himself. Now, the oppressor's henchmen are after poor Thanassis, and if that weren't enough, yet another gang of toughs is hot on his trail, dreaming of getting their hands on the precious item. But, what is written on the tiny piece of paper that's worth millions?
