Van Damme plays Eddie Lomax, a former soldier who, for reasons not completely confirmed, has become very tired of life and decided to ride his motorcycle out into the desert to end it all. There he has a run in with some people who are causing trouble for a lot of the towns folk, and things get ugly. However it gives Van Damme a reason not to throw in the towel: revenge. He goes in search of them, makes a couple of friends along the way and even meets a nice girl. Can he help the towns people out of the difficulties they are experiencing with his new enemies too, and save the town and himself from total annihilation?
