The film follows Anna, a fragile and emotionally fractured young woman caught between mental illness, social alienation, and a desperate search for love. After suffering a psychological breakdown, Anna is committed to a psychiatric institution, where she encounters a rigid, dehumanizing system marked by control, emotional coldness, and power imbalance-one that worsens rather than heals her condition. After her release, Anna attempts to reintegrate into society but repeatedly fails in relationships, work, and everyday social expectations. Her interactions with men are characterized by dependency, emotional emptiness, and abuse. Rather than depicting a path toward recovery, the film presents a cyclical descent into hope, self-destruction, and rejection.
