Paris region, beginning of winter. A young woman, Marie Bourgoin, suddenly disappears. The only clue is a tourist leaflet left behind: Mauritius smeared with blood. The criminal brigade of the S.R.P.J. de Versailles is seized of the investigation. Commander Fabian, Captain Gomez get to work. The surroundings are searched, relatives questioned, possible clues analyzed. No track. A few days later, still in the Paris region. Two bodies are unearthed. One of them is a young blonde woman, like Marie Bourgoin. Fabian digs the trail, studies the files of disappearances according to precise physical criteria. Result: a probable serial killer who has already raged for several years. So for Gomez and Fabian, the way of the cross begins.
