The righteous cop Karl Jørgensen has recently been released from psychological treatment and suffer from stress and a dedicated temper to solve crimes. The Ex-wife has a new man in her life - not exactly what Karl would like around his daughter - and definite involved in a horse race fraud case. Strømer (Cop) pursues all clues and gets unexpected help from a tabloid journalist (Dick Kaysø) with new clues. Karl Jørgensen works hard and with no compromises when he causes an elderly society lady's suicide. Certain of solving the case Karl goes after the responsible but respectable backers.
