Flower vendor Yolly (Nora Aunor) and her brother Efren (Dan Alvaro), who works as a driver and hired assassin for a ruthless money laundering lady Connie (Gloria Romero), live a bleak, hardscrabble existence in the underbelly of the tourist/fashion district of Manila. Escaping from a violent past in their province, the siblings collide with Connie's gang when Yolly witnesses a rape and murder perpetrated by Connie's son Dennis (Toby Alejar) and Efren decides to blackmail Connie for her money. A nightmarish resolution between the hunter and the hunted on an empty cargo ship anchored in Manila Bay and final confrontation between Yolly and Connie over the missing half-million dollars.
