Bob Wade (James Warren) and his partner, Chito Rafferty (John Laurenz) save Ruth Stockton (Debra Alden) and her father (Harry Harvey), from stagecoach bandits. Bob is determined to restore law and order to a western town controlled by a saloon owner, Boyd Carter (Raymond Burr). Carter attempts to keep the Stocktons from opening a new bank that will treat the incoming settlers in an honest manner.
