A new teacher is causing a stir at an elite boarding school in the UK. Miss Novak is a nutritionist and wants to teach the pupils about healthy eating. A small group of teenagers - Elsa, Helen, Fred, Ragna and Ben - take part in her course. The nutrition lessons quickly develop into a sect-like group. The focus is on "cleansing the body from the inside". Miss Novak proposes a mono-diet to her students, which soon turns into a zero-diet that can solve a whole bundle of problems: the body is cleansed and liberated, the environment is relieved and capitalism is cheated. By the time the wealthy parents of the pubescent children realize that a huge problem is developing, it is too late. Even the dismissal of Miss Novak can no longer free the children from their delusion that they live better without food. Club Zero devours its members.
