Avery, Ben, Mia, Sarah, and Noah all had Mr. Massey as an appreciated teacher back in school. Now Mr. Massey has passed away and Avery tries to gather the old friends to commemorate him. Everyone is busy with their own lives and some seems reluctant to meet again. Eventually Avery succeeds to get them to meet again and celebrate the memory of Mr. Massey, who had a big influence in their lives. This, however, stirs old grievances and new challenges. The old friends get new reasons to sort out their lives.
