Students at middle school should be concerned about their classes, getting ready for high school, sports and extracurricular activities. But, this short film follows the lives of middle school students who are affected by their families' struggles. Monica Johnson will be placed in the middle of her parents' conflicts and competes with her younger sister for emotional support. She will be affected by their ignorance as she faces bullies at school who lash out at Monica to deal with their own family issues. This story will showcase how young girls struggle to find emotional outlets through the lens of school violence.
