In praise of Chicago's beauty, the continent's second largest city, only 100 years old. We start with its architectural masterpieces, then it's on to Chicago's waterways and rail lines which make the city the largest transportation center in the world, and to the city's commercial and retail centers, including Randolph and State Streets. From the motorway, we visit the Gold Coast, the Outer Drive, and an exclusive bathing beach on the shore of Lake Michigan. We watch folks fishing and others sunbathing. The travelogue concludes with views of landmarks, including the old Watertower, Lorado Taft's Fountain of Time, and Buckingham's Fountain. Twilight descends as we bid farewell.
