'Chasing Chekhov' is a luscious story about Lydia Avilova, in love with Chekhov and in trouble with her husband in 1898 Russia. The period film is interwoven with the contemporary story of Nicole and George, husband and wife filmmakers who are grappling with their own problems as they attempt to make the period film.
