A feature-length documentary that forms a survey of Charles Chaplin's early career using re-edited footage from: The Tramp (1915), The Bank (1915), The Champion (1915), His New Job (1915), A Night Out (1915), A Night in the Show (1915), In the Park (1915), A Woman (1915) and Police (1916). An animated title and still sequences were created to frame the film footage, which is all material which Chaplin made before he turned producer and was not owned by him.
