Two rabid Boston Celtics fans try to hedge their bets by kidnapping the star of the Utah Jazz during the NBA Finals. Damon Wayans, Daniel Stern, Dan Aykroyd, Gail O'Grady, Adam Hendershott, Paul Guilfoyle, Deion Sanders, Christopher McDonald, Gus Williams, Ted Rooney.

Not a sequel to BRAVEHEART but something even less appealing, a coarse comedy about big-time basketball. Boston's playing Utah in the finals, and a pair of lumpen Celtics fans (Dan Aykroyd and Daniel Stern) stumble onto a scheme to clinch the championship: They'll kidnap Jazz franchise player Lewis Scott (Damon Wayans) just before the crucial seventh game. CELTIC PRIDE supplies predictably lowbrow yocks for jocks, and its rather disturbing racial implications go entirely unacknowledged.
