Despite the US banking system and government bonds being one of if not the safest means to keep money in the world, many Americans still feel the need to stash their money away in what they consider the most well hidden places to keep it safe. An everyman, Joe Schmoe, is seen hiding his money away in several different places around his house, often to keep it away from the prying hands of his wife, always with disastrous results.
