Alan Ladd plays Dan Holiday a writer that solves a crime. Alan Ladd goes to lunch with Paul Wells but is kidnapped and placed in a sanitarium under someone else's name. The Doctor, Paul Wells and Clarice Stokes are in it together to get 5 million dollars and hide a murder. He must find a way to get out and contact his friend Lt. King to foil the plot.
