After years of hard work as a municipal sanitation worker, the loveable family man, Padelis, now leads a quiet and well-organised life. Cherishing the simple joys of life--surrounded by his demanding wife, Despo; his meddling mother-in-law, Koula, and his young daughter, Gogo--Padelis is timidly starting to make plans for the future, now that he is ready to retire.
