Sophie is a hardworking comedian. When her estranged young daughter, Quinn, is unexpectedly thrust back into her life, Sophie's plans have to be reshuffled. While Quinn struggles to adjust to her new environment, Sophie quickly learns how taking care of someone else can change things. Sophie must come to terms with the fact that she's in over her head, and attempt to calm the chaos that her world quickly becomes.
