15 year-old Janet and 16 year-old Arthur are and in love. When Janet accidentally gets pregnant, the teenage couple has nowhere to turn. While Arthur’s ex-military father is more concerned with spouting clichés, and Janet’s father is consumed with having her emulate her dead mother, the two are forced to seek the advice and services of an illegal abortion doctor.
