In front of an office building a dog is tight to a phone booth. The dog is whining. Nadine (28), a telephone operator, is trying to ignore the animal, but she can't do that any longer when one of her costumers, Gert (40), points out that the dog is scared. Gert comes over and helps Nadine with the animal. What follows is a short encounter between two lonely people. While helping the dog they are especially supporting each other.
