A 12-year-old boy struggles with mixed feelings about his father. The father is a fanciful dreamer, with a childish temperament, but cheerful and generous. The boy tray to make his father mature and also tray to educate him, but finally discovers that he misinterpreted what he believed was a lack of fidelity towards his mother, and that his father was actually fun and generous. He gets a friend of his father, with the same childish and jovial character, to end up being the father of his best friend, who always envied him for having such a father.
