After a chance encounter in a luxurious Athenian store, wealthy and handsome Nikos finds himself smitten by sweet Anna, a smart and charming saleswoman. As one thing leads to another, and the two young lovers exchange vows of eternal devotion, Nikos' beautiful but spiteful stepmother, Sophie, decides to ruin their happiness, bent on separating them.
